Eclipse Crafts & Livestream

1:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Belleville Area District Library
Cozadd Room A

Event Details

On April 8, parts of North America will experience a total solar eclipse! While we will experience only a partial eclipse here in Belleville, it's a still a once-in-a-lifetime event worth commemorating. Join us in the library's program room where we'll be showing the live stream of NASA's eclipse coverage across the path of totality. We'll have information stations set up, as well as craft projects for kids. Bring your eclipse glasses* and keep an eye on the moon's progress as it moves between us and the sun!

*PLEASE NOTE: the library will not be handing out solar viewing glasses on the day of the eclipse! If you are a resident of Belleville, Van Buren, or Sumpter Township, please come by the library with your library card or proof of residency between noon and 5 pm on Saturday, March 30 when we will be handing out FREE glasses to area residents, while supplies last.
